Description
I painted this romantic morning scene of Lahaina Harbor for a special client. Doing commissions are both fun and challenging. I enjoyed working on this one quite a bit. Lahaina Harbor is one of my favorite subjects to paint.
I spent one morning photographing the harbor to get reference photos. Mornings at the harbor has less boats moored in their stalls since many of them have gone out on tours or fishing charters. This helped to keep the scene less busy and complicated.
