Description

Deep in a far off galaxy, clusters of turquoise stars and planets swill around each other. Galaxies are fascinating. Like people, some are young and others are old. Some galaxies are made up of hot stars that have only recently been born, like baby stars. Other galaxies are colder and contain mostly older stars.

My hidden galaxy is made of liquid acrylic paint, poured onto my canvas. This one has great contrasting values. The dark turquoise makes it feel as if the lighter colors are being pulled into a black hole.

NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
