I painted this painting on location at the A&J Family Farm. I was part of a group of 6 artists. After arriving at the farm I began photographing everything I thought would make a good painting, including the other artists ( one of which I have done a painting of ). There was so much to see I couldn't settle on any one spot. It took me a hour to finally settle on the entrance to the farm. It was still early in the morning and the shadows were dancing across the driveway. The tree on the left caught my eye along with the old broken farm equipment. The other trees are young walnut trees.
