Artist's Description
I painted this painting from a photograph a student of mine took while visiting Zhangjiajie national park in China. My student is Chinese and speaks very little English (almost none). He has been my most challenging student so far. Because I never know if he is understanding what I'm teaching him. All I know is his work comes out beautifully. One of the things I enjoyed about teaching him was the interesting things he wanted to paint. I had the chance to see parts of the world I never been to through his eyes.
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
