Ka’anapali Beach is a 3 mile-long, spectacularly perfect beach that is home to seven resorts. It runs from Black Rock to Canoe Beach, There is a long concrete walking path that you can take a romantic stroll along from one end to the other, with lots of shops and various restaurants and activities along the way. There are great views of Lana'i and Moloka'i too. This is a great place to do some whale watching from the beach in the winter or catch a sunset. Which brings me to my painting.
Who would have thought there would be so much purple in a sunset? Me of course. We often have very colorful sunsets here. Purple ones, red ones, orange ones and even a combo of all those colors. We also get treated to amazing sun rays, busting from behind clouds. That is one of my favorite things to see.
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
