Artist's Description
You never know what you are going to find while strolling on the beach. You just might come upon a starfish washed ashore.
This acrylic painting started out as a demo for a student. I was teaching her how to create sand and foam. I didn't finish it before the class time was over. I went back to it a week later and decided the painting needed a touch of life so I added the starfish.
This painting is being featured in the Southwest Art magazine April 2018 issue. I'm so excited!
