Artist's Description
This area of West Maui is called Olowalu. It is half way between Maalea and Lahaina. It's a beautiful spot with amazing views. Olowalu is fast becoming my favorite place on Maui. The mountains are dramatic and the ocean views are spectacular. You can see four Islands from this spot. No mater what time of day I go there I am rewarded with awe inspiring eye candy.
For this painting I did a red orange underpainting to help keep all the warm mid value tones unified.
