Artist's Description
My "Swayback Humpback" looks pretty darn happy in his deep blue sea. He's having a blast swimming around the Pacific Ocean on his way to Maui Hawaii. Where he will preform spectacular breaches for all the whale watchers who've come to see him.
I used the acrylic pouring technique for the background. I love the motion in this one. The original painting is on a 12 inch wood panel, ready for hanging. He'll look great in any tropical decor.
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.

McGuire's choice of subject matter comes from her love of nature and all that surrounds her on a daily basis. She paints in large and small formats. Three of the five galleries that represented her work were destroyed by the Lahaina fire. The two remaining galleries are Karen Lei's Gallery in Kahakuloa and Karen Lei's...
