Kapalua Bay is not very far from where we live. It's another great spot to catch the sunset. The building you see in this painting is Merriman's Restaurant. This sweet little bay is a popular place for young couples getting married and is one of my favorite places to snorkel. The water here is beautiful, clear, blue, very inviting. It's a great beach for swimming or just relaxing. The bay is a classic crescent shape and is protected by a coral reef and rock outcrops on both sides of the bay.
