Description
"Splash of Spring" has awaken my color palette. The spring flowers are beautiful. Starting with a lavender under-painting helped to keep the color temperature in balance. I used a soft filbert paintbrush to achieve the effect of leaves and flowers. The colors I used for this painting reminds me of an Easter Parade.
The original painting is in a private collection in Idaho.
