Did you know Santa delivers gifts to all the sea creatures in the ocean? Yep, he sure does, and to prove it I painted him doing just that. Now as we all know, his reign deer aren't able to swim under the ocean, so he asked his seahorse friends for their help.
The fuchsia octopus setting on the coral encrusted rock is happy to help light the way. She brought along her lantern and was rewarded with a gift and a candy cane. Good thing she has lots of arms to hold her treasures.
You may have noticed two of Santa's friends who also came to help, little red crab and happy sea turtle. Both have been featured in some of my other Hawaii Santa paintings.
I'm sure you noticed that gray shark swimming above santa and his sleigh. But don't worry he is just there to remind Santa he has been a good boy and would like his present. Now what do you think a shark would ask Santa for?
