Artist's Description
Santa loves vacations! how do I know that? Well take a look here. Santa is on maui, enjoying a day at the beach with his little red crested cardinal friend. Together they built a sandman. The little bird helped by finding that really cool seaweed lei Santa is draping around the sandman neck. Oh, and did you notice the really classic Aloha shirt Santa is waring? He purchased that at one fine tourist shop on Front Street in Lahaina. It matched his red shorts and hat. The cool red flip flops he picked up to complete his beach attire. He is one styling dude!
Every year I paint a Santa painting. This is 2018's. I have a few other ideas hoping around in my head that might materialize, making two or three for this year. We'll see.
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
