This tiny painting is an ACEO / ATC, the size is only 2.5 x 3.5 inches, painted with acrylic on watercolor paper. I scaned the original painting at the highest resolution in order to create a large enough file to make big prints. I was surprised and excited to see how the texture of the paper created a cool effect when blown way up.

Darice Machel McGuire lived on the beautiful Island of Maui from 2012 until the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023, destroyed her art studio. She and her husband have relocated to Grass Valley, California. They purchased a commercial building to reestablish their art studios. McGuire's Hawaii and California landscape oil and acrylic paintings are gracing the homes and offices of collectors nationally and internationally. McGuire's choice of subject matter comes from her love of nature and all that surrounds her on a daily basis. She paints in large and small formats.
