Description
I'm in love with the clouds on Maui. Everyday I'm greeted with amazing shapes and color when staring at the sky. Some clouds I see make me itch to grab my paints and translate them into a painting. This painting is a result of doing just that. I'm a studio artist, which means I paint in my studio and not on location. So I take lots of photographs of things I want to paint. This painting is a combination of three photos. I used one photo for color reference, one for the cloud shapes and the third for scene location.
