Artist's Description
Ocean's Call, a very appropriate title for this painting I think. The sweet little Honu ( sea turtle ) is making her way to the ocean. Leaving the sandy beach behind her.
I used the acrylic pouring technique for the background. I came very close to leaving it without adding the sea turtle because I liked it so much. I decided I can have it both ways. I had Charlie (my husband / photographer) photograph it before I added the turtle then again after. I have both images on here on my website. You can find both of them in my Acrylic Pour gallery. The one without the turtle is called "Breaking Waves".
