Do you like to watch the ocean? I do, it's mesmerizing. I love watching the waves as they come to shore, crashing and splashing, leaving sea foam in their wake.
Painting these waves is no easy task, but I love doing it. This scene is from Napili Bay, you can see Moloka'i in the background. This bay is close to where I live. It's a crescent shaped bay with a nice sandy beach. To the left of the bay is a rocky area. Sea turtles are often seen feeding there. This area is perfect for wave watching too. I tend to take 100s of photos of the waves each time I visit this spot. It's also a great place to watch the sunset.
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
