Description
I couldn't resist painting these beautiful flowers. I cut the hydrangeas from my garden in Chico California. My hydrangea bush was so full of blooms they begged me to cut them. I brought this bunch to my art studio. My youngest oil painting student at the time had not done a still life painting from 'life". This was the perfect opportunity to teach her. I used one of my miniature paintings as a model and placed it in the composition. This gave the painting balance and added a touch of fun.
