Description

Honu Patchwork is part of my Hawaiian Petroglyphs series. I start each painting by texturing the canvas with tissue paper. Then I layer earth tone colors by dry bushing them on, one layer at a time. I then plan out my designs and add the petroglyphs. I'm striving to give each painting the look and feel of old Hawaiian art.
