He'e is how you say octopus in Hawaiian. The he’e is associated with the ancient god, Kanaloa, a spiritual leader of the underworld. He is a navigator and mysterious healer. Ancient chants and Hula Kahiko represent the mythological and spiritual connections of the two gods, Na aumakua and mana.
