Description

Imagine for a moment, a life where Humpback whales and sea turtles are friends. Just like these two. They play together in the warm shallow waters off Maui while their mom's keep an eye out for any danger. In real life you wouldn't see a scene such as this. Only imagination can create a world where all creatures are friends.

The abstract background of this painting I did with the acrylic pouring technique. I paint a lot of humpbacks and turtles by themselves. But for this painting I decided to put them together.

The honu is swimming up to his friend to say Aloha, come play with me. The baby humpback is happy to join him. Together they swim through the warm waters of the Pacific, around the Hawaiian islands.

NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
