Fall is such a beautiful time of year. With the rich colors of the trees and the crisp cool air. I painted this scene for an art class I was teaching at my school. One of my students painted by my side so he could follow along with me. This student didn't speak english. He had only been in the U.S.A for six months. I had a Chinese translation book to help us. I did a lot of explaining through images. Art is definitely the universal language.
