Description
A serene stream cascades gently over rocks, surrounded by lush green foliage and trees with splashes of red flowers. Rays of sunlight filter through the leaves, casting a warm glow on the peaceful setting.
This painting was started by my mom, Lola Owen. I finished it after she passed away.
My parents owned Lakeside Gallery in Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe for nearly 40 years. The gallery was closed in 2008 and all of mom's paintings and quite a few other artists works were stored in their garage. After my parents passed away my sister bought their house and asked me to take all the art works. Mom had about 70 paintings she never finished. I'm finishing them for her and signing both our names.
