Since I've been on a Honu craze lately I've run out of title ideas. So I went on Instagram and asked my followers if they had any suggestions. One of which was "Flipper", but the problem with that is that name has been taken by a friendly dolphin. My niece gave me a suggestion from her kids and I went with it. So the title of this Honu painting is "Crush The Honu". I think it's pretty cute and leave it to kids to come up with the cute factor.
This is another of my embellished acrylic pour paintings. I love how this one came out. The dark blue center really gives it a feeling of depth. The golden color at the top hints of sunlight reflecting on the water. The repeat color at the bottom reminds me of the ocean floor.

She and her husband have relocated to Grass Valley, California. They purchased a commercial building to reestablish their art studios. McGuire's Hawaii and California landscape oil and acrylic paintings are gracing the homes and offices of collectors nationally and internationally.
