I love the power of the ocean and watching waves come onto the shore. Capturing the motion of the ocean is both challenging and rewarding. This dramatic scene I created with a palette knife. The texture in the rocks and water are full of drama. The rocks on the right are mirrored in the look of wet sand.
The original painting is in the private collection of a Northern California collector.
