Artist's Description
What kind of flower is this? Let your imagination go wild and decide for yourself. Maybe it's a peonies or a hibiscus, it could even be a carnation.
I created this colorful bloom with the acrylic pouring, using the Dutch pour technique. I used just three colors, phthalo blue, magenta and yellow. I puddled these colors onto the wet canvas I covered with white paint. I blew the white paint into the colors covering them. Then I blew the paint back out again. This created the flower effect. It's such a fun technique.
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
