Artist's Description
A serene Lake Tahoe landscape is depicted, with clear blue waters in the forefront and snow-covered mountains in the background. Large rocks and a solitary pine tree are prominently featured along the edge of the lake, with the pine reaching upwards towards a cloudy sky.
This painting was started by my mom, Lola Owen, before she passed away. I finished it for her.
My parents owned Lakeside Gallery in Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe for nearly 40 years. The gallery was closed in 2008 and all of mom's paintings and quite a few other artists works were stored in their garage. After my parents passed away my sister bought their house and asked me to take all the art works. Mom had about 70 paintings she never finished. I'm finishing them for her and signing both our names.
