I love enhancing my acrylic pour paintings. Often I have to study the finished pour painting to get the feeling of what would work best on it. I have some in my studio that have been hanging around for a year waiting to talk to me. Those just don't want to give up their secrets. And then sometimes I know right away what it needs, like this one.
As soon as I stopped working the fluid paint I saw calla lilies. The flower on the left already had the shape. The one on the right needed a helping hand. The swirly abstract background gives this a cosmic feel.
Since the original is a 12 inch round painting on wood panel, the only way to show it here and sell prints is to add the black background. I also have a version with a white background.
