Artist's Description
This is the first in a series of these Bird Of Paradise flowers.
A customer had brought a bunch of freshly cut flowers for us to enjoy. They were so pretty I had to photograph them to use as reference for paintings. I took quite a few photos and couldn't decide which ones I liked best. I posted them on my Instagram and asked my followers to help me choose. It turned out my followers couldn't decided either. So I created two 12x12 companion pieces.
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
