Just recently I discovered a technique called "acrylic pour". I've been watching lots of YouTube videos on how to do them. "Breaking Silence" is my first large painting using this technique. This one I was going for the look of the ocean breaking the shore. I'm super happy with the way it turned out. I really love how the colors swirl together and the "cell" patterns created in them. I am so hooked on this technique now, I'll be doing a lot more!
NOTE; This painting, along with my entire inventory and art studio, was destroyed in the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023.
