Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

Red hibiscus flowers are a common sight here in Maui. In fact, there are a lot of hibiscus bushes right out side my front door. The painting you see here is an oil on canvas. I painted it on a deep gallery wrap canvas and painted the sides as well.

Hibiscus flowers represent delicate beauty, unity and peace. In the Victorian era, flowers were often used by people to send messages, and each flower had its own special meaning. The hibiscus would be given to send the message that the giver thought the recipient was beautiful and delicate.

Darice Machel McGuire

Darice Machel McGuire lived on the beautiful Island of Maui from 2012 until the Lahaina fire on August 8th, 2023, destroyed her art studio. She and her husband have relocated to Grass Valley, California. They purchased a commercial building to reestablish their art studios. McGuire's Hawaii and California landscape oil and acrylic paintings are gracing the homes and offices of collectors nationally and internationally. McGuire's choice of subject matter comes from her love of nature and all that surrounds her on a daily basis. She paints in large and small formats.
